I'm Alan and my aim is to help you get rid of outdated, unwanted behaviours and limiting beliefs, enabling you to make positive life changes and achieve your goals. I offer the choice of face to face or online therapy sessions.
I use a combination of techniques, hypnosis, mindfulness, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and integral eye movement therapy (IEMT) to help clients achieve the results and goals they want.
Having had hypnotherapy many years ago to stop smoking, which was an immediate and complete success for me, I started on my journey of studying and training in hypnotherapy and psychology. Over the years I have worked and volunteered as a support worker and tutor, and I have been involved in areas of adult mental health for a charity and the NHS.
I’m a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and abide by their code of ethics. I am fully insured and undertake regular supervision and further training to update and add to my professional skills.
I’m a fully qualified Hypnotherapist and Integral Eye Movement Therapy practitioner, and I have a Psychology BSc Hons degree.
